New addition to our fleet. DJI Mini 4 Pro
We continue to invest in our business in many ways including training, safety, software and equipment. Our newest addition is the DJI Mini 4 pro.
This drone serves as a backup to its bigger brother the DJI Mavic 3. It also makes for a great travel companion due to its small size and form factor. We will be taking it with us this weekend to Nashville to test it out and get some night footage.
Some of the features this drone includes:
Under 249 g
4K/60fps HDR True Vertical Shooting
Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing
Extended Battery Life
20km FHD Video Transmission
ActiveTrack 360°
What's all the buzz about the new DJI FPV drone
DJI recently came out with a new drone called DJI FPV. FPV stands for “First Person View” in which these drones are flown in first person using goggles or an FPV headset. Similar to the oculus and other VR gaming headsets. This allows for a much more immersive flying experience than flying with a phone or tablet.
While this drone is fully capable of taking still images, it will primarily help our business with allowing us to capture video angles that we otherwise would not be able to with our traditional drones.
Another neat feature of this drone is the built in ADS-B receiver which alerts you to manned aircraft flights in your area, further increasing the safety of the drone operations we conduct.
Real Estate Drone Photography Pricing
One of the biggest questions we get is how much does real estate photography cost. Not every scenario is the same, but we try and keep it as uniform as possible and generally offer the same packages. For a basic real estate package with just pictures, we typically charge $150. That usually entails droning the property and dwelling and delivering around 6-12 fully edited final pictures. Our goal is to give you enough to be able to give you choices that suite what you want to showcase. Booking is very dependent on availability and weather. We try and schedule for mid-day when the sun is at it’s highest for the best lighting. We sometimes deviate from this if a client is alright with it and looking for faster results.
